He married again to Sybil Tipler in 1908.
They had a son & a daughter, both born in Palmerston Nth.
Charles was a ropemaker in Levin from around 1890 to 1896. He then moved to Hokowhitu & Palmerston Nth where he continued as a ropemaker.
He owned a 20 acre Suburban Block (2) in Levin from 1889 to 1891.
His son Karl & a son-in-law Allan Pick served in WW2.
