Walk of Fame
The Walk of Fame is a series of plaques in Oxford St, Levin, to commemorate those people of distinction who were born, or educated, or lived for any length of period, or who died, in the Horowhenua. There are three categories of people, those who:
- represented New Zealand in any sporting activity;
- has international recognition that reflects well on the Horowhenua region;
- would be recognised as adding to the heritage of Horowhenua;
- would be recognised for outstanding service in any conflict New Zealand was involved in.
There are now 43 plaques. Set out below are two lists of all 43:
