Frank was born at Clive.
He married Mary Green (born in 1866) in 1891.
They had two sons & four daughters.
One son-in-law, Frederick Wood, served in WW1 & was mentioned in dispatches in 1919.
Frank started as a horse trainer in Gisborne around 1890.
He moved to Levin to be the hotel keeper of the Levin Hotel from Jan 1908 to Mar 1910.
From there he was running hotels in Stratford, Blenheim, Wanganui & finally at Palmerston Nth.
