Guiseppe was born in Sarzana, Italy.

He married Martha Jane White (born in Edinburgh, C 1848) in 1890. Where married is not known.

They appear to have had one child by adoption. The name is not known.

Guiseppe, or Joseph, was a settler in Kereru in the early 1890's, then a storekeeper in Ohau until his early death.

His widow remained in Ohau. She was appointed Postmistress of Ohau in 1903.
