Joseph was born in Ireland.
He married Amelia Hoinville (born at Shoreditch, Middlesex, England in c 1870) at Hackney St John in England in 1893.
They had two daughters, both born in England. The family emigrated to NZ in Aug 1912.
Joseph was a labourer in Wellington then a bootmaker in Palmerston Nth, where he died.
Amelia moved to Eastbourne, then Wellington. At one point she owned two sections in Essex St in Levin in the 1920's.
Both daughters details after 1949 & 1957 are a mystery.
