Ralph was born at Palmerston Nth.
He married Ea Wilton (born at Wellington in 1890) at Waikpukurau in 1910.
They had one son & two daughters. The youngest was born only a few moths before Ralph died.
Ralph was a postal clerk. He later became a police constable. He died, early, during the flu epidemic.
His widow eventually remarried to a widower, Edgar Elliott, who was the father of one of her daughters's husband.
During her time as a widow Eva lived in Levin. She owned property in the Wilton St area. Her father, Alfred was whom Wilton St, Levin was named after.
