Thomas was born at Feilding.
He married Ellen James (born at Wellington in 1870) at levin in 1896.
They had two sons & two daughters. One youngest daughter died in infancy.
One son, Albert, served in WW2.
Thomas was a labourer all his life, starting at Feilding & then moving to Levin around 1896. He signed the "Yes" township petition in 1905 and was included on the unofficial census of the time.
All but one daughter-in-law, are buried in Levin.
